The short version

Our calculator runs entirely in your browser. We never see, store, or transmit your loan inputs. The only personal data we receive via the site is what you choose to send to admin@payoffmath.com.

What we collect

• Aggregated analytics via Google Analytics 4 (page views, referrer, anonymized country, device type). No individual identification, no cross-site tracking. We use IP anonymization.
• Server logskept by our host (Vercel) for standard ops/security purposes. These contain IP and user agent and are retained per Vercel's standard retention policy.
• Email correspondence if you contact us. Stored only as long as needed to handle the request.

What we don't collect

• Calculator inputs (principal, APR, term, extra payments)
• Names, addresses, phone numbers
• Bank account, credit card, or loan-account information
• Cross-site browsing history

Cookies

The site uses cookies for analytics (GA4) and to remember your calculator inputs across sessions if you opt to enable that feature. You can disable cookies via your browser settings. We don't use third-party advertising trackers.

Affiliate links

When you click an affiliate link from PayoffMath to a partner (e.g. a lender), the destination site may set its own cookies for attribution. Those cookies are governed by that partner's privacy policy, not ours. See our disclosures page.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold. Email admin@payoffmath.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we'll update the "Last updated" date and post a notice in the footer for 30 days.
